Pastor's Corner

These are indeed precarious times. Fortunately, God is real and offers believers unlimited access to His reservoir of material and emotional resources.  These resources enable us to not only survive during times like these, they offer us strength to thrive despite times like these.

If you have not already done so, my hope is that you will consider inviting Jesus into your life. Though the ultimate gift of God through Jesus is the forgiveness of sins, faith in the Lord has additional benefits. Those benefits include the comfort of knowing God’s Holy Spirit will protect, guide, and empower you all the time and everywhere you go.

St. Mark UMC is dedicated to helping persons discover and exercise the numerous spiritual gifts God offers. Our corporate gifts then enable us to make a difference in the world, beyond what we could do individually.

I invite you, therefore, to consider becoming part of the worldwide Christian family, and the St. Mark family.  Together we can make a difference, even during times as precarious as these.

"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him." (1st Corinthians 2:9).

The Lord has blessings with your name on them.  Don’t let them pass you by.
