Rev. Rev. Allyson Talberts
Rev. Allyson C. Talbert is a Deacon in Full Connection in the Northern Illinois Conference of The United Methodist Church. She is a certified Christian Educator and has received Ecclesiastical Endorsement for General Hospital and Hospice from the United Methodist Endorsing Agency.
Rev. Talbert currently serves in her primary appointment as a Chaplain Educator/Supervisor at University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System and seeks to offer a supportive presence to patients and staff, and an encouraging learning environment for students. Rev. Talbert fulfills her Conference connectional responsibilities with her service as Vice Chair of the Conference Board of Ordained Ministry and an active candidacy/clergy mentor.
One of Rev. Talbert’s greatest joys is spending time with her family—Charles Talbert, her son Matthew, and her grandchildren, Lavonte, Alana and Matthew Jr. As she continues to discern ways to fulfill God’s call, it is her prayer that each encounter will provide insight and wisdom for her faith journey and strengthen her desire and ability to equip fellow travelers along their own.
