Eligibility:

• Female, high school seniors who are members of St. Mark Methodist Church and plan to attend the college, university or vocational school. (Verification/acceptance letter from school or training program required)

• Current college/vocational students who previously received UWF scholarship funds

• Must be actively participating in a St. Mark ministry or volunteer program during the past 12 months. (Verification letter from ministry and/or program required.)

Application:
Students submitting an application must include the following:

• Completed application with appropriate signatures.

• At least one (1) recommendation letter from the chairperson or director of a St. Mark UMC ministry, program or community outreach in which the student has been actively involved.

• Previous scholarship recipients must provide documentation from a ministry or program verifying participation while away at school.

• A 300 word (minimum) essay describing the student's career goals and dreams. Essays much be typed.

Deadline:

The deadline for submittal is May 31, 2023. Incomplete applications will not be accepted and will be returned. No application will be accepted after the deadline. All applications must be submitted via the following online form.
